Sundance Martial Arts has been teaching Taekwon-Do in the Vernon community for over 18 years. We are conveniently located at 2905 43 Avenue (above Banner Recreation). We offer classes for young kids, youth, teens and adults in the style of ITF Taekwon-Do.
Since we’ve opened, we’ve been dedicated to changing the lives of people one person at a time, through martial arts, education and coaching. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all students and family members in . We take pride in creating an environment for individuals to achieve, develop and succeed in their personal goals.
We strongly believe that martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender or experience levels. Sundance Technical Director Master David White began training in Taekwon-Do at the age of 8 in Vernon. He currently holds a 7th degree black belt and is certified as an International Master Instructor and Examiner with the International Taekwon-Do Federation. From a young age, Mr. White knew that he wanted to teach and coach people in Taekwon-Do and in 2004 he founded Sundance Taekwon-Do in Vernon. Since then he has gone on to impact hundreds of lives in the Vernon area and has coached 7 Taekwon-Do athletes to represent Canada at the World Championship level. In 2019 he was selected as a Canadian National Team coach for the World Championships in Germany. Mr. White looks to have a positive impact on anyone he coaches.
